Senior Project Delivery Manager

About the role

We are seeking experienced Senior Project Delivery Managers to lead vital water and wastewater programmes across the United Kingdom. You will join a growing Water team, overseeing a diverse portfolio of technical and digital projects from inception through hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects through the full lifecycle, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Manage programme budgets, risks, contracts and stakeholder relationships.
• Coordinate capital works and software‑as‑a‑service (SaaS) initiatives with clients, internal teams and supply‑chain partners.
• Ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes that meet commercial and regulatory requirements.
• Support and develop a high‑performing project management team.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related technical discipline).
• Preferably at or approaching chartered status with a recognised professional body.
• Proven experience delivering complex engineering projects, preferably within the water or infrastructure sector.
• Familiarity with NEC4 contract principles is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
