Senior Project Management Specialist - Project Planning

About the role

Join Baker Hughes as a Senior Project Management Specialist focused on project planning. You will lead the scheduling and delivery of large subsea projects, ensuring high‑quality, on‑time execution for our customers in the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall project schedule management, maintaining logical, clear, and accurate timelines.
• Coordinate with product line and engineering planners, as well as execution functions such as engineering, procurement, and manufacturing.
• Support the Project Manager by creating look‑ahead plans, identifying schedule risks, and proposing mitigation actions.
• Prepare and deliver regular schedule reports and updates to both internal stakeholders and the customer.
• Ensure compliance with approved processes and drive new initiatives for integrated planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven experience in project planning within oil & gas, subsea, or large‑scale mechanical manufacturing environments.
• Strong expertise in managing complex project schedules.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and communicate schedule status effectively.

Required skills

• Primavera P6 planning tool.
• Oracle MRP (considered a plus).
