Senior Project Manager – Capital Campus Development

About the role

Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of Tyne Coast College’s new campus capital programme, acting as the client‑side lead and coordinating contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure a safe, on‑time, on‑budget transition to a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of the College’s ambitious capital programme.
• Plan and execute major decant and relocation activities.
• Oversee construction works and contractor performance.
• Manage project budgets, cash‑flows and financial reporting.
• Produce assurance reports for Governors, senior leaders and funding bodies.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, local authorities and other key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering complex construction and capital projects, including decant and relocation.
• Extensive experience in the built environment, estates, property or construction sectors.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and health & safety obligations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels.
• Experience managing consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Recognised project management or construction qualification, preferably RICS membership.
