Senior Project Manager – Capital Delivery

About the role

Our client is delivering one of the South West’s most ambitious capital investment programmes and seeks a Senior Project Manager to own complex, high‑value projects and strategic programmes. The role combines strategic direction, commercial leadership and senior stakeholder management across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead major capital projects and programmes, ensuring safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Manage substantial budgets and investment portfolios, overseeing forecasting and performance reporting.
• Direct multidisciplinary delivery teams and supply‑chain partners, handling NEC commercial strategy and contract administration.
• Develop and mentor project management capability across the wider team.

Required profile

• Significant experience delivering major infrastructure, utilities or engineering programmes.
• Extensive pre‑construction expertise, including business cases, design development and procurement.
• Advanced NEC contract management and commercial leadership.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and present to senior executives.
