Senior Project Manager – Construction (RIBA Stages 4-6)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of construction projects from inception through to completion, with particular emphasis on RIBA stages 4‑6. The role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and expertise in JCT and NEC contracts to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide project management services in line with RICS guidance and professional standards.
• Lead and manage construction projects through all stages, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, risks, procurement processes, and reporting requirements.
• Monitor performance, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
• Support directors and senior management in business growth and practice development.
• Assist in the professional development of junior project managers and maintain high standards across the team.
• Utilise company systems and project management software effectively to support delivery.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in construction, property, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Chartered status (MRICS or FRICS) preferred.
• Demonstrable experience leading complex construction projects, particularly through RIBA stages 4‑6.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement routes, project controls, and risk management.
