Senior Project Manager – EPOS Deployment

About the role

This senior position leads the end‑to‑end deployment of a new EPOS platform across a large multi‑site retail estate. You will own the strategy, sequencing and delivery, ensuring each store is ready before go‑live. The role can be based in London or Liverpool with a hybrid working pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the EPOS rollout strategy across all sites.
• Sequence deployments, manage timelines and coordinate with internal teams.
• Oversee third‑party suppliers and delivery partners to meet quality and schedule targets.
• Ensure change, readiness and adoption activities are embedded in the delivery plan.
• Monitor progress, report status to senior leadership and mitigate risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex IT transformation projects in a large retail environment.
• Demonstrated success managing multi‑site rollouts and third‑party relationships.
• Strong understanding of change delivery where front‑line users are directly impacted.
• Experience working with major UK retailers (e.g., Asda, Sainsbury’s, M&S) is preferred.
