Senior Project Manager – Hybrid, Edinburgh

About the role

Storm ID is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex digital transformation projects for public and private sector clients. Based in Edinburgh with a hybrid work model, you will own end‑to‑end delivery, from discovery through design to launch, while shaping the way our Project Management Office operates.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent digital projects, managing scope, budget, timeline and governance.
• Collaborate closely with clients, multidisciplinary delivery teams and senior stakeholders.
• Mentor junior project managers and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage issues and drive change control processes.
• Build long‑term client relationships and ensure high‑quality, data‑driven outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering several digital projects simultaneously, across varying complexity.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate designers, engineers, researchers and client representatives.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Solution‑focused mindset with solid risk and issue management capabilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid) and when to apply each.
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasts and change control.
• Ability to build credibility and trust with clients at all organisational levels.
