Senior Project Manager

About the role

The client, a leading global organisation, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own multiple complex product development projects from concept to delivery. You will drive both hardware and software initiatives, ensuring they meet quality, regulatory, and business expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee several concurrent hardware and software development projects and programmes.
• Manage deliverables, KPIs, budgets, and schedules in line with business targets.
• Identify and mitigate risks and seize opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams and lead project meetings.
• Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Foster high‑performing team environments with strong morale and efficiency.
• Embed quality standards and regulatory compliance into all delivery phases.

Required profile

• 5+ years leading complex, multi‑disciplinary product development projects.
• Technical background covering both software and hardware environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience.
• Accredited project‑management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, IPMA, SAFe).
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with embedded software and hardware integration.
• Knowledge of procurement specifications, supplier management, and configuration workflows.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder‑communication abilities.
• Confidence in resource planning, forecasting, and financial tracking.
