Senior Project Manager – Mental Health Services

About the role
The Senior Project Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for a growing portfolio of trauma‑informed, person‑led mental health and wellbeing services. Reporting to the CEO, you will ensure high‑quality, financially sustainable delivery that aligns with organisational priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead mobilisation, implementation and oversight of commissioned and grant‑funded services, meeting contractual, financial, quality and performance standards.
- Provide programme leadership across multiple projects, maintaining governance, risk management and performance monitoring.
- Identify and drive service improvement, innovation and operational consistency.
- Directly line‑manage Project Leads, setting expectations and overseeing performance.
- Promote a collaborative, values‑led culture across teams.
- Contribute to workforce planning, recruitment and development to build management capability.
- Lead commissioner reporting, contract monitoring and service evaluation using robust data.
- Oversee service data quality and use insights for decision‑making and continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Proven experience in senior project or programme management within health, social care or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of trauma‑informed, person‑centred service delivery.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, contracts and performance metrics.
