Senior Project Manager – Primary Care Cancer Improvement

About the role
The University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of primary‑care cancer improvement projects across North Central London. You will work within the North Central London Cancer Alliance, collaborating with NHS organisations, Integrated Care Boards and primary‑care networks to enhance cancer diagnosis, screening and patient pathways.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of NCL‑wide primary‑care cancer improvement projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, primary‑care networks, Integrated Care Board colleagues and partner organisations.
- Manage project plans, risks, milestones, budgets and reporting arrangements to ensure successful delivery.
- Support improvements in cancer screening, early diagnosis, learning and development, and the use of data and analytics within primary care.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration and service improvement across organisational boundaries.
- Produce high‑quality reports, presentations and project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist clinical teams in implementing evidence‑based improvements that reduce variation and improve patient outcomes.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a project manager in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships across organisations.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data and evidence to drive service improvement.
