Senior Project Manager – Property Development

About the role

Bidwells is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high‑profile capital projects across a range of sectors. Based in the City of London, you will act as a trusted adviser to clients, overseeing projects from concept through to completion while supporting the growth of the firm’s project management offering.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of multiple construction and development projects from inception to completion.
• Serve as the primary client contact, building long‑term relationships and providing strategic advice.
• Develop project briefs, programmes, execution plans and delivery strategies.
• Manage project governance, risk, budgets, procurement and reporting throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee consultant appointments, tender processes and contractor management.
• Administer contracts to ensure safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery.
• Prepare and present high‑quality reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Identify value‑adding opportunities and support business development activities.
• Mentor junior project managers and promote professional development.

Required profile

• Significant experience delivering complex construction and capital projects within a professional consultancy.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills, including fee forecasting and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with confidence to make informed decisions.
