Senior Project Manager – Sustaining (Engineering)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager – Sustaining to lead a portfolio of complex engineering projects focused on product lifecycle management, obsolescence, cost reduction and continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet time, budget and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering projects and programmes, defining scope, budgets, risks and delivery plans.
• Drive obsolescence management, product support and engineering change initiatives.
• Deliver cost‑reduction and value‑engineering projects across manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Provide regular project reporting, governance and stakeholder updates.
• Support the continuous improvement of project‑management processes.

Required profile

• Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
• Proven experience leading complex engineering projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, risks and schedules.
• Good understanding of engineering change, product lifecycle management and continuous improvement.
