Senior Project Officer – Affordable Housing Development

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Senior Project Officer to join Caredig’s Development Team in Swansea. The role will lead the delivery of affordable housing projects from initial concept through to hand‑over, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all stages of affordable housing developments.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets and quality, taking corrective action when required.
• Liaise with internal teams, external contractors, local authorities and stakeholders.
• Prepare and present progress reports and documentation.
• Ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing housing or construction projects.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
