Senior Property Manager – Brighton

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to lead a large and diverse residential portfolio for a well‑established independent estate agency in Brighton. You will be the primary point of contact for landlords and tenants, overseeing day‑to‑day operations and ensuring high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of residential and block‑managed properties.
• Serve as the main liaison for landlords and tenants, handling queries and issues promptly.
• Arrange and supervise maintenance works, obtain quotes and instruct contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Gas Safety, EICR, EPC and other statutory requirements.
• Conduct mid‑term inspections, produce reports and manage check‑outs, inventory and deposit returns.
• Maintain accurate property records, tenancy information and CRM data.
• Coordinate utility transfers and tenancy administration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property management.
• ARLA qualification or working towards it (advantageous).
• Ability to manage a busy portfolio independently with strong organisational skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office suite.
