Senior Property Manager/Commercial Surveyor

About the role

Join one of the UK’s leading property consultancies and manage a prestigious commercial portfolio for Trinity College, Cambridge. You will split your time between the Trimley Estate in Felixstowe and the Cambridge office, with flexibility to work from home.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong landlord‑tenant relationships.
• Oversee rent collection, service charges and budget management.
• Manage leases, licences, rent reviews and renewals.
• Conduct property inspections, coordinate maintenance and ensure compliance.
• Lead health & safety and risk management initiatives.
• Drive sustainability projects across the estate.
• Support strategic asset‑management decisions.
• Mentor junior colleagues and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing commercial property portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant matters.
• Experience with service‑charge budgeting and administration.
• Solid understanding of property compliance and health & safety.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Collaborative approach with confidence to own a portfolio.
• MRICS qualification desirable but not essential.
