Senior Quant Developer (C++) – Low‑Latency Trading

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quant Developer with deep low‑level C++ expertise to join a leading quant and systematic fund in London. You will work on ultra‑low‑latency trading systems, collaborating closely with strategy, infrastructure and network teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and maintain high‑performance C++ code for ultra‑low‑latency trading platforms.
• Integrate trading strategies with FPGA hardware to ensure seamless execution.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and network engineers to maximise system performance and reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years of professional C++ development experience.
• Strong background in metaprogramming, memory management, multithreading and CPU cache optimisation.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and basic infrastructure/network concepts.
• Academic background such as BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics is desirable.
• Experience in high‑frequency trading is a plus, but candidates with relevant personal finance projects are also welcome.
