Senior Quantexa Data Engineer (Hybrid, Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantexa Data Engineer to join a global technology leader. Based in Manchester with a hybrid working model, you will design and deliver robust data pipelines and configure Quantexa components for high‑impact client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Spark, Scala and Python on Databricks.
• Configure and optimise Quantexa solutions to meet client requirements.
• Lead technical development and provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable deployments.
• Support integration projects and troubleshoot production issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior data engineer, preferably with Quantexa implementations.
• Strong background in Spark, Scala and Python programming.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks and cloud‑based data platforms.
• Ability to lead technical delivery and mentor team members.
