Join a leading general contractor as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, playing a pivotal role in high-profile cladding replacement and building refurbishment projects across the South West of England. This is a strategic commercial position where you will manage multiple active sites, including Exeter, Plymouth, and Newquay, driving financial success in a stable and rapidly growing environment.

Missions principales

• Take full commercial responsibility for multiple simultaneous projects, specifically focusing on cladding replacement and facade rehabilitation.
• Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim valuations and final accounts.
• Lead cost planning, forecasting, and detailed financial reporting to ensure project profitability.
• Manage the procurement process for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Administer construction contracts, with a specific focus on JCT forms.
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Build and maintain robust professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Profil recherché

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a main contractor or a specialist subcontractor.
• Demonstrable expertise in cladding, facade systems, refurbishment, or general building construction.
• Strong track record in commercial management and rigorous cost control.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
