About the role
Miller Homes is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Commercial Team in the North‑East region. You will support the delivery of high‑quality homes by managing commercial aspects across one or more projects.
Key responsibilities
- Procure sub‑contract trades and reconcile material purchase orders placed by Buyers.
- Consolidate and analyse monthly commercial reports.
- Liaise with finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of live developments.
- Mentor junior team members.
Required profile
- Surveying experience gained with a recognised house builder or within the wider construction sector.
- Ability to work to set monthly reporting timescales.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Team‑player who can interact with other departments.
Required skills
- Proficiency with commercial software such as Cognos, Anaplan and JDE.
