Senior Quantity Surveyor – Marine Infrastructure Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a fast‑moving commercial team delivering a £100m+ marine infrastructure project in the Essex area. The role combines financial management, procurement, payment certification and risk oversight while leading the commercial team on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse project budgets and produce monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR).
• Pre‑qualify, procure and manage documentation for all sub‑contractors.
• Certify interim payments and issue payer/pay‑less notices in line with regulations.
• Manage commercial risks and provide expert advice on contractual and legal issues.
• Supervise and mentor the commercial team, fostering collaboration between site and office.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with all project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
• Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
