Senior Quantity Surveyor – Mixed‑Use Development (Mid Cornwall)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a high‑profile mixed‑use development in Mid Cornwall. The role starts with procurement responsibilities and progresses to managing live packages, including valuations, variations and supply‑chain payments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for the development.
• Manage contract packages once on‑site, overseeing valuations and variations.
• Process supply‑chain payments and ensure accurate cost control.
• Maintain budgetary targets and report financial performance.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on commercial projects.
• Background in a Tier 1 or regional contracting business.
• Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.
• Previous mentoring or management experience.
• Commitment to delivering projects that provide community and social value.
