Senior Quantity Surveyor – Regional Construction Team

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Regional Construction team in Leeds. You will be responsible for driving the commercial success of projects ranging from £10M to £80M across education, healthcare, leisure and government sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on financial viability during early project stages and tender processes.
• Develop and manage procurement strategies to achieve best value.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and supply chain partners to secure optimal commercial outcomes.
• Monitor project expenditure against budgets using detailed Cost Value Reconciliation reports.
• Provide commercial expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience on large two‑stage bids and high‑value construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contract conditions.
• Solid understanding of procurement and subcontractor management.
• Ability to produce detailed commercial reports for senior stakeholders.
• Relevant degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Valid full driving licence.
