Senior Recruitment Consultant

About the role

Veritas Education is expanding its Leeds team and seeks a Senior Recruitment Consultant to maintain the high‑quality service it provides to schools and trusts across West Yorkshire. You will act as a trusted advisor to educational settings, matching candidates with short‑term and permanent vacancies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high‑volume recruitment desk, sourcing and placing candidates across primary, secondary, early years, SEN and post‑16 sectors.
• Develop new business opportunities and nurture existing client relationships.
• Provide day‑to‑day support for schools, handling supply, long‑term and permanent staffing needs.
• Stay up‑to‑date with education recruitment frameworks, including CCS and GCA.

Required profile

• Proven track record in educational recruitment or sales.
• Experience managing a high‑volume desk and delivering results.
• Strong communication and candidate sourcing abilities.
• Knowledge of the education recruitment market, frameworks and compliance.
