About the role
Central Employment is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join its growing permanent recruitment team. You will operate a full‑cycle (360) model, managing client relationships, candidate pipelines and delivery from prospecting to placement across the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Source, screen and assess candidates using direct search, job boards and other recruitment methodologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates, delivering tailored recruitment solutions.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to ensure candidate fit with client requirements and culture.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the client base.
- Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, market conditions and best recruitment practices.
- Mentor junior team members and promote a collaborative environment.
Required profile
- Several years of specialist permanent recruitment experience, preferably within a specific discipline or industry.
- Proven ability to develop client relationships from scratch and work in a 360 model.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship‑building capabilities and a drive to succeed in a high‑pressure environment.
Required skills
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices and methodologies.
- Experience with candidate interviewing and assessment techniques.
