Senior Reserving Actuary – Global Reinsurer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Reserving Actuary to join a global reinsurance organisation operating across three legal entities. The role offers exposure to both direct insurance and reinsurance lines and involves close collaboration with underwriters, regulators and senior business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead reserving projects and actuarial processes for multiple entities.
• Manage and develop a team of two junior actuaries.
• Prepare and present reserving analyses to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal risk appetite.

Required profile

• FIA qualification with extensive London market reserving experience.
• Proven ability to lead projects and communicate effectively with business partners.
• Experience working in a global (re)insurance environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
• In‑depth understanding of Solvency II requirements.
• Practical experience with IFRS 17 reporting.
