Senior Residential Care Carer (Bank)

About the role
As a Bank Senior Carer in a residential care home you will support residents’ needs and help deliver person‑centred care. You will lead a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of safety and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise care staff, including training and delegating duties.
- Administer and order medication, and maintain accurate medication records.
- Review, update and implement resident care plans and risk assessments.
- Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and families to coordinate care.
- Promote a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment for residents.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Previous experience in a residential care setting.
- Proven team‑leadership and decision‑making abilities.
- Compassionate, warm‑hearted and committed to individualised resident care.
