Senior Residential Carer (Bank) – Flexible Hours

About the role

As a Bank Residential Senior Carer you will provide person‑centred care to residents in a Barchester care home, ensuring their dignity and preferences are respected. You will lead a team of care staff, support medication administration, and liaise with health professionals and families.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train and supervise care staff on shift, delegating duties as required.
• Administer and order medication, ensuring safe handling and documentation.
• Review, update and maintain resident care plans and risk assessments.
• Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and families to coordinate care.
• Promote a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment for all residents.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Previous experience in a residential care setting.
• Proven team‑leadership abilities and sound decision‑making.
• Compassionate, warm‑hearted and committed to individualized resident support.
