Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker

About the role

Apple Orchard is seeking a Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker to join its therapeutic homes for young people aged 12‑18. In this full‑time, permanent position you will help create a safe, supportive environment for children who have experienced trauma or disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on meeting each young person’s care, welfare and development needs.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote wellbeing and personal growth.
• Provide night‑time sleep‑in support on a rotating basis, ensuring continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and therapists.
