Senior Residential Conveyancer – Bristol

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join a well‑established law firm’s Residential Property team in Bristol. You will manage a full residential conveyancing portfolio from instruction through to post‑completion while delivering a high standard of client service.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish.
• Meet deadlines and client expectations while managing transactions efficiently.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, solicitors, agents and other parties.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice throughout the conveyancing process.
• Liaise with all relevant stakeholders and maintain accurate electronic and paper records.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support and mentor junior team members as required.
• Act as a positive ambassador for the firm.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, FCILEx or CLC registered.
• Significant experience in residential conveyancing and a detailed understanding of property law.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently from instruction to completion.
• Experience supervising or mentoring colleagues is advantageous.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective teamwork in a busy, collaborative environment.
• Competent use of IT systems and case‑management software.
