Senior Residential Conveyancer – Hybrid Working

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join our growing Residential Property team in Axminster, Devon. You will manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post‑completion, working with a supportive director and dedicated support team.

Key responsibilities

• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Manage remortgages, transfers of equity and shared ownership transactions.
• Deal with leasehold property matters (no new‑build conveyancing).
• Provide guidance to junior colleagues and oversee case progress.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience in residential conveyancing, or an experienced unqualified Conveyancer/Conveyancing Fee Earner with 3+ years managing their own caseload.
• Previous supervisory or mentoring experience is advantageous but not essential.

Required skills

• Residential conveyancing (freehold, leasehold, remortgages, transfers of equity, shared ownership).
