Senior Residential Conveyancing Solicitor – Hybrid

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our growing South Coast property team in Southampton. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of high‑value residential property transactions while collaborating with a supportive, forward‑looking team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a busy caseload from instruction to completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Handle re‑mortgages, equity releases, transfers of equity, new‑build and plot purchases, and Help to Buy/shared ownership matters.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors to ensure smooth progression and excellent client care.
• Work closely with related practice areas such as Residential Development, Commercial Property, Construction, Property Disputes, Family and Private Client teams.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with solid experience in residential conveyancing.
• Proven ability to manage an independent caseload from start to finish.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with clients, referrers and agents.
• Proactive, organised and able to meet competing deadlines.
• Excellent communicator who enjoys regular client contact.
• Willingness to support junior team members and contribute to team development.
