Senior Robotics & Automation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Robotics & Automation Engineer to join our award‑winning manufacturing specialist. Based in Gloucestershire with travel across the UK and internationally, you will lead the design, programming and commissioning of bespoke robotic systems for a variety of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, program, integrate and commission custom industrial robotic and automation solutions.
• Lead customer projects from concept through full lifecycle, ensuring on‑time delivery and quality.
• Provide on‑site technical expertise and support during installation and commissioning in the UK and abroad.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative specialist equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial robotics, automation or controls engineering.
• Self‑motivated, customer‑focused professional comfortable with frequent international travel.
• Ability to work autonomously on complex, specialist projects.
