Senior RPA Developer – Flexible Remote

About the role

We are supporting a leading organisation in Newcastle upon Tyne that is looking for a Senior RPA Developer on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role can be performed remotely with occasional travel to the North East, and offers flexibility on salary depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy Robotic Process Automation solutions using Blue Prism and Power Automate.
• Create and maintain Power Apps to support business processes.
• Integrate external systems through API calls and develop supporting PowerShell scripts.
• Collaborate with NHS stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver automation that improves patient‑care workflows.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting and documentation for all automation assets.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practice standards are followed.

Required profile

• Senior‑level RPA developer with a hands‑on, solution‑focused mindset.
• Proactive and able to start immediately.
• Based in the North East or able to work remotely with occasional travel.
• Experience in an NHS or healthcare environment is desirable.

Required skills

• Blue Prism (preferred but not mandatory).
• Power Apps and Power Automate.
• API integration experience.
• PowerShell scripting.
