Senior Sales Manager

About the role

Our client, a whole‑of‑market mortgage broker, is looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead the Life & Protection team in Southampton. This full‑time, office‑based role will manage a team of fifteen, both office‑based and remote, driving sales performance and development.

Key responsibilities

• Set, achieve and monitor performance targets for sales, efficiency and quality.
• Demonstrate the company sales process and model “good calls” for the team.
• Build an energetic, engaging sales floor culture.
• Communicate company aims and objectives clearly to the team.
• Develop team members through personal development plans, performance reviews, call listening, training and one‑to‑one coaching.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ sales management experience in an outbound, advice‑based protection role.
• Proven track record of meeting sales, quality and regulatory targets.
• Experience coaching staff in consultative selling, objection handling and closing.
• Strong awareness of customer service standards and FCA/TCF regulatory guidelines.

What we offer

• Basic salary up to £55,000 per year.
• On‑target earnings (OTE) with an additional uncapped £20,000 commission potential.
