Senior Sales Trader – Equity Derivatives

About the role

This senior position is focused on building and owning a buy‑side franchise for equity derivatives within an established inter‑dealer broker. The successful candidate will leverage existing sell‑side infrastructure while developing direct relationships with buy‑side clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a dedicated buy‑side equity derivatives franchise.
• Maintain and expand relationships with institutional investors across targeted markets.
• Collaborate with the sell‑side team to provide seamless dealer access and pricing.
• Identify and capture new flow opportunities, driving revenue growth.
• Act as the primary point of contact for buy‑side clients, ensuring high service standards.

Required profile

• Proven track record in equity derivatives sales at an investment bank.
• Strong, established network on the buy‑side with the ability to generate flow.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build an independent business.
• Experience or exposure to Scandinavian, Polish, Hungarian, or German markets is a plus.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of equity derivatives products and market structures.
