About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior SEN Administrator to join a well‑regarded secondary school in Southwark. This full‑time position supports the SENCO and inclusion team, ensuring smooth administration of the school's SEN provision.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update SEN records using SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom.
- Assist the SENCO with EHCP documentation, annual reviews and reporting.
- Coordinate review meetings and liaise with parents, carers and external agencies.
- Track student progress and manage intervention records.
- Handle confidential documentation in line with GDPR and safeguarding policies.
- Support exam access arrangements and related paperwork.
- Process referrals and communicate with the local authority.
- Provide general administrative support to the inclusion team.
Required profile
- Previous experience working in a school setting (essential).
- Experience as an SEN Administrator or Teaching Assistant with strong MIS experience.
- Working knowledge of SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom (essential).
- Understanding of EHCP processes and the SEN Code of Practice.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
