Senior SEO Executive – Agency Experience

About the role

We are looking for a senior SEO Executive to join our creative agency in Watford. The role involves designing and executing SEO strategies for a portfolio of small- and medium-sized business clients, improving their search visibility and organic traffic.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and manage SEO campaigns across multiple client accounts.
• Conduct comprehensive website audits to uncover optimisation opportunities.
• Perform keyword research and execute on-page SEO improvements.
• Optimise site architecture, URL structures, metadata and technical elements.
• Create SEO-focused content and support link-building initiatives.
• Monitor performance with analytics tools and produce regular reports.
• Manage local SEO activities, including business listings and citations.
• Maintain client relationships and provide clear updates on campaign progress.
• Collaborate with copywriters, designers and external suppliers.
• Support paid-search (PPC) activities when required.

Required profile

• 5-10 years of SEO experience within an agency environment.
• Proven track record of managing SEO for multiple client websites.
• Strong understanding of organic search principles, keyword research and content strategy.
• Solid knowledge of technical SEO and website architecture.
• Excellent written English and ability to produce audience-focused content.
