Senior SEO Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SEO Lead to own and drive the organic search strategy for a fast‑growing digital agency specialising in the automotive sector. You will be the primary point of contact for SEO across client accounts and will help shape the agency’s overall search performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic SEO roadmaps for key agency clients.
• Lead, recruit and mentor the SEO team, fostering professional growth.
• Act as the central SEO liaison with clients, ensuring clear communication and delivery.
• Participate in new‑business pitches and contribute ideas for agency expansion.
• Collaborate closely with the Paid Media lead to align organic and paid search initiatives.
• Identify growth opportunities and champion the adoption of the latest SEO technologies.

Required profile

• Demonstrated passion for organic search and proven experience in an SEO‑focused role.
• Ability to design and manage complex SEO strategies.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, including site audits and migrations.
• Track record of leading and mentoring a team.
• Enthusiasm for working in an independent, growth‑oriented agency.
• Must be able to commute to North Leeds three days per week.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000 per year.
• Hybrid working model – three days onsite in North Leeds.
