Senior SEO Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SEO Manager to join a fast‑growing digital agency in Manchester City Centre. You will lead SEO and AI Search strategies for a portfolio of e‑commerce clients, working in a hybrid model with two days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of SEO and AI Search strategies across multiple client accounts, meeting agreed KPIs and growth targets.
• Develop and refine integrated search strategies to maximise visibility on traditional search engines and emerging AI platforms.
• Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and presenting performance insights and strategic plans.
• Monitor campaign performance, budgets and resource allocation, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, results and ROI.
• Identify account growth opportunities, supporting upsell initiatives and new business proposals.
• Manage junior team members and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering SEO and AI Search strategies for e‑commerce clients.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to communicate insights in a commercially relevant way.
• Track record of managing budgets, resources and delivering measurable ROI.
• Leadership experience, including mentoring junior staff.
• Enthusiasm for staying ahead of industry trends, particularly AI‑driven search.
