Senior Service Advisor – Automotive

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Service Advisor to join a prestigious automotive brand in Salisbury. The role involves acting as a key point of contact for customers, supporting the day‑to‑day running of the Service Reception and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service from vehicle check‑in through to handover.
• Support and mentor the Service Advisor team to maintain high performance.
• Schedule service and repair work efficiently with the workshop.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
• Prepare accurate estimates and explain work carried out.
• Promote additional products and services where appropriate.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Ensure all administration is completed accurately and in line with manufacturer standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Senior Service Advisor or an experienced Service Advisor ready to step up within the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• A proactive and professional approach with the ability to lead by example.
• Experience using dealership management systems is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence.
