Senior Service Co‑ordinator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Service Co‑ordinator to lead the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of forklift truck service across multiple sites. The role combines hands‑on technical knowledge with strong organisational and customer‑facing skills.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule planned maintenance, preventative service and reactive repairs for forklift fleets at various locations.
• Prioritise service calls, allocate engineers and resources to meet SLA commitments.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding bookings, status updates and escalations.
• Maintain accurate job records, service histories and parts usage in the service management system.
• Monitor spare‑part inventory, raise purchase requests and manage supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and equipment safety standards, supporting engineer training and competency checks.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating forklift truck maintenance and field service operations.
• Strong technical understanding of forklift hydraulics, electrical systems and engines.
• Excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication abilities.
• Experience scheduling field engineers and handling parts logistics.
• Relevant mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications are preferred.
