Senior Simulation Engineer - Systems Engineering

About the role

Newton Colmore is supporting an instrumentation manufacturer in Cambridge that develops cutting‑edge airport scanning and classified radar systems. As a Senior Simulation Engineer you will create and validate physics‑based models that drive new product development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and analyse complex system models using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers and designers.
• Build test benches, perform code revisions and verify model performance against real‑world data.
• Contribute to model‑based systems engineering processes for multiple product lines.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in MATLAB and Simulink applied to systems engineering.
• Experience with physics‑based modelling and model‑based systems engineering.
• Ability to develop test benches and manage code revisions.
• Curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to tackle challenging problems.
