Senior Site Agent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Agent to lead the delivery of a prestigious residential development in Cumbria. This senior leadership position will oversee all site activities from groundworks through to customer handover, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all site operations from groundworks to final handover.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Deliver homes safely, on programme and within budget.
• Monitor quality, productivity and site costs.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, Building Regulations and warranty standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site logistics.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Technical, Sales and Customer Care teams.
• Manage inspections with Building Control and warranty providers.
• Maintain accurate site records and reports.

Required profile

• Significant experience in residential housebuilding.
• Previous role as Senior Site Manager or Site Agent.
• Proven track record delivering traditional housing developments from start to finish.
• Strong leadership, planning and organisational abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety, Building Regulations and warranty standards.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Required skills

• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS Black or Gold Card.
• First Aid at Work.
• NVQ Level 6 (preferred).
• Temporary Works Supervisor qualification (preferred).
• Scaffold Inspection qualification (preferred).
• Fire Marshal qualification (preferred).
