Senior Site Engineer

About the role

Join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major residential infrastructure projects across the East Midlands. As a Senior Site Engineer you will lead engineering activities on site, ensuring safety, quality and programme delivery while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee engineering works for roads, drainage, foundations, earthworks and related civil works.
• Set out works, produce accurate site records, surveys and as‑built information.
• Supervise Site Engineers and junior engineers, providing guidance and technical support.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors and clients to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards, company procedures and project specifications.
• Support delivery of projects to budget, quality and programme targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer or leading a civil engineering team.
• Strong background in residential infrastructure, groundworks or civil engineering projects.
• Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel to sites across the East Midlands.
