Senior Site Manager – £60k‑£65k – Care Home Project

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a £9 million new‑build care home in Parkgate. The role will oversee the project from early construction stages through to handover, ensuring the programme stays on schedule and meets quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Take day‑to‑day responsibility for site delivery and coordination of all trades.
• Drive the 12‑month programme from structure through to completion and handover.
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring work is safe, efficient and on schedule.
• Coordinate structural, envelope, internal fit‑out and external works.
• Maintain high health, safety and welfare standards on site.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular inspections.
• Monitor quality, manage snagging and ensure successful handover.
• Support short‑term programming, look‑ahead planning and logistics.
• Maintain clear site records and progress reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on similar £‑million construction projects.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple work packages.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and quality regulations.
• Experience delivering projects within tight programmes.
