Senior Software Architect – Infotainment

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Senior Software Architect to lead the design and development of infotainment solutions. You will shape the architectural vision for QNX‑based virtualization, ADAS and IVI functionalities, ensuring high performance and alignment with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate the architectural roadmap for software products and platforms.
• Lead system design, create architectural documentation, and produce API specifications.
• Assess technical feasibility, evaluate new technologies, and manage risk.
• Recommend and justify technology selections that improve development efficiency.
• Design QNX virtualization concepts for Cluster, ADAS and IVI and ensure optimal system performance.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for complex issues, leading debugging and root‑cause analysis within the AOSP stack.
• Communicate architectural decisions and progress to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including architectural design.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex software systems.

Required skills

• QNX operating system and virtualization concepts.
• Android Open Source Project (AOSP) stack.
• Automotive ADAS and IVI technologies.
• System performance optimization.
• Architectural design, documentation and API specification.
