Senior Software Developer – Hybrid (Reading)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a fast‑growing software company in Reading. The role is hybrid, with three days a week in the office, and offers the chance to work on award‑winning products within the Salesforce ecosystem and cutting‑edge AI projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance features across Salesforce, Azure‑hosted services and backend systems.
• Write clean, testable and maintainable code using C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and REST APIs.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing ideas and technical direction.
• Collaborate with a small agile team on code reviews, planning and delivery.
• Leverage AI tools to improve development workflow and support integration and data‑modelling activities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of C#, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure services such as App Services, Functions and SQL.
• Solid understanding of APIs, SQL and version control (Git) in an agile environment.
• Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to upskill in Salesforce.
