Senior Software Engineer – Customer Analytics

About the role

Intermedia is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its Customer Analytics Engineering team. You will design and maintain scalable backend services that power analytics across Intermedia’s cloud communication products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java (JDK 11+) backend services using Spring Boot.
• Build and optimise SQL queries for MySQL and Snowflake data stores.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Data Engineers and fellow engineers to deliver new platform capabilities.
• Investigate production incidents, identify root causes and implement long‑term fixes.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor teammates and drive modernisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 8+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong commercial Java development experience (JDK 11 or later).
• Proven ability to build, maintain and support production‑grade backend applications.
