Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack & DevOps)

About the role

We are a leading e‑commerce print company operating two online brands, route1print and instantprint. The role sits in the Website team that builds the customer‑facing platforms driving commercial performance. You will bridge the gap between rapid code development and reliable, safe delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build end‑to‑end e‑commerce experiences, from front‑end applications to APIs and services.
• Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines to deliver changes quickly, repeatably and safely.
• Raise the bar on automated testing, including unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests.
• Use Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) to provision and manage cloud environments and containerised workloads.
• Implement observability – logging, monitoring, tracing and alerting – to detect issues before customers do.
• Improve release strategies with feature flags, staged rollouts, safe migrations and reliable rollbacks.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
• Lead development initiatives, contribute to architecture decisions and mentor less experienced engineers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack software engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience in both full‑stack development and DevOps/platform engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language such as C#, Java or Go.
• Direct ownership of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Solid understanding of containerisation (Docker) and modern deployment tooling.
• Comfortable using AI tools (Claude Code, Antigravity) to support development.
