Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established UK leader to build and maintain modern web applications. You will work on a full‑stack stack, delivering high‑quality features and mentoring junior developers in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, React, MySQL/PostgreSQL and related technologies.
• Design, implement and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Work with cloud infrastructure, messaging systems (Redis, RabbitMQ) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews, Git workflow management and technical decision‑making.
• Mentor other developers and contribute to architectural discussions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience with MVC frameworks such as Symfony.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and modern JavaScript (React, NodeJS).
• Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and version control (Git).
• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, GraphQL and cloud‑based deployments.
• Passion for clean, maintainable code and end‑to‑end project ownership.
